Fantastic stay!! Staff is super friendly and helpful. There's good information on what to do and how to get there, close to the main station (metro, hsr, airport mrt, buses). Good breakfast, easy to find. Restaurants, convenience stores, night market, malls nearby. Comfy bed with light, curtain and power outlet. Only thing I misses was a shelf by the bed. Good size locker in the room too. Clean toilet and shower, great water pressure! Nice lounge! Would reccomend this place to everyone!

Fantastic place!

Loved this place; the staff were very nice, super helpful - especially late in the evening, when I had trouble with my train ticket for early the next day. She did her very best to help me. Also, the English of the staff were very good. 
I had a double room, which was very nice, clean, light and well-furnished. The bed was good, I slept well and I had lots of space around the bed to repack and organize my things. 10F is very conveniently located close to the underground mall and the train-station. I can definitely recommend staying here.

The perfect place to stay in Taipei

Was lucky enough to stumble on reviews for this apartment and decided to book it for my first solo travel. Was so fortunate to stay with them. 
Location wise is okay, from Taipei Main Station exit Y17. 
(Taipei Tip - Taipei Main Station is walkable to two other stations - Bei Men (Green Line) and Zhong Shan station (Red Line). All linked by an underground mall. Apartment 10F is nearer to Bei Men - Exit 3 towards yellow plated underground city mall. More travel tips - Ximending is accessible by Green and Blue lines. So if you are staying with Apartment 10F, you don't have to walk 15 minutes to Taipei Main Station to take one station down, you can walk to Beimen and take the green line - also one station down. Easier and faster ;))

Apartment 10F - Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. 
Before I arrived, I had tons of questions for them regarding check in and all, they were so patient with me and replied to emails and facebook messages promptly. 
When I arrived, the guy at the counter (did not get his name) showed me around and explained the rules and regulations of the hostel. Went out shortly after. 
The night receptionists were so friendly, Nancy in particular was extremely helpful to me when I asked for tips on how to get around - she even took the initiative to help google and walked me through how to go. So friendly and even remembered where I went the day before and asked me about it the next day we meet. (Imagine there are more than 20 guests in the apartment and she remembers everyone!?)

Very clean apartment too (though cleanliness is really dependent on the guests too since everything is shared. 

One down side however, is that the apartment can get a little stuffy since the dorm is separated with curtains and there's only one aircon in the room Lucky for me, I had the bed closest to the aircon and could open a small opening to let the air in. 

All in all, I will definitely come back. If you are travelling in a group, recommended to get the private rooms since you can more privacy and aircon ;)

First hostel experience and Apartment 10F nailed it!

If you have an early morning flight to catch just like us, then Apartment 10F Hotel  – Taipei  公寓10 is a good choice.  Located just opposite the Taoyuan Airport MRT (Taipei Main Station), it is just 5 minutes walk.

From Y17 exit of Taipei Main Station -> turn back to a building just next to the exit.  There is no signboard to indicate the hostel.  Climb the stair where a security guard is seated -> take the lift to 10th floor to where Apt10 is located.

If you have heavy luggage and need to take an elevator to exit, suggest to take the Y13 exit.  From here, just walk straight all the way to the Apartment 10 building. 12 minutes walk and you need to cross one or two roads.

It is a small hostel.  We stayed 2 nights (NTD5500) at triple room with breakfast at SGD124 per night.  One double bed and a single bed are on raised wooden platform.  Space is little restricted. Wifi is ok.

Bathroom is clean but very basic.  Breakfast is also basic with bread, ham, jam and butter.  Kitchen is kind of small.  A little crowded during peak times.

Affordable budget stay

Dread lugging your luggage searching for your accommodation? Look no further, Apartment10F is the best choice. Take airport train from Taoyuan Airport and alight at Taipei Main Station Exit A3. The entire journey is approx 30mins. From the exit cross the road to the opp building. Besides a shop selling kid's stuffs there's an "entrance" take the lift to 10th level you will see Apartment10F on your right. 

The moment you enter it's like entering to heaven, it's so bright, cosy and comfortable. Mikita (hopefully i got the name correct). She is very warm and approachable (and pretty). She briefly explained the accommodation's rules and showed me around.

The common area is very spacious with an open faced kitchen. You can cook your own meal there but please wash after using. The serve simple fare breakfast, a selection of breads and fruits!! Self served coffee machine includes latte, cappucino, milk tea and hot cocoa. Breakfast starts at 8am - 10pm. 

You may want to catch the sunrise/sunset by sitting by the window. The view is so spectacular it lit up your mood. If the staffs are there they will be more than happy to have a chat with you. Had a great time with Vivienne and another lady.

The room is cosier than my own room! Waking up to blue sky view every morning. The room is very clean, its like stepping into a brand new room. The bed is so comfortable that i snuggled under the sheet until late noon. I liked the desk corner, be it doing some work or your make up done there. Since the sunlight is so bright it makes your makeup look so natural. The housekeeper changes the towels daily, empty the bin and refill toilet paper. I have no complain at all. Absolutely better than 4 stars hotel which i stayed before.

Location wise is is very convenient and accessible by train and bus. Right infront of thr apartment is Exit Y17 underground mall. Girls take note that the underground mall closes around 9pm onwards. Do not walk alone at the underground, because it's so quiet and souless that if anything happen nobody could help you. I suggest exit from the Q Square shopping mall. From the mall entrance cross the bridge and keep walking straight. 

If you are going to taipei main station subway suggest you to take the bridge route. Turn left from the hostel and walk straight you will see the bridge. But since its summer you might want to escape from the heat take the underground route. It takes approx 15 mins to reach.

Nearby ningxia night market can travel by bus no 2, 63 and 215. Turn right cross the road to opposite shop turn right and walk straight to bus stop.

Overall service from the hostel staffs was impeccable. I will return for sure. Thank you everyone for the memorable time.

The Best Accomodation in Taipei

For $69 I was able to book a private room with a queen bed and my own bathroom.  The view wasn't too shabby either.  The women who work here are lovely and extremely helpful.  Apt10F is very convenient to the Taoyuan  Airport Express Train termination point across from Taipei Main Station.  It is a bit difficult to find, so make sure to have a look at the building front on google maps.  The building appears to be a decrepit office building, but the hotel is quite well appointed and secure.
