Location is central and 20 min from the main train station, 10 min from shopping area. Spacious room with standard decor. The 15 cm raised bathroom is a problem for people with mobility issues and all the rooms have this issue so beware. Entrance to the hotel could be confusing at first as it’s a nondescript building, with the hotel on the 3rd. Reasonable prices

Spacious room, good location but bathroom step problematic

The hotel is just 8-10 min away from Taipei Main Station, and next to several streets filled with small and popular eateries. Also in the midst of a shopping district. Rooms are spacious though the decor is a bit old-fashioned. Staff was very helpful with a query I had. The raised bathroom is a problem for people with mobility issues. I noticed a bug/ant straying among the toiletries in the bathroom and on the bed table but not anything dirty. Would recommend the hotel to those looking for a central location with mid-range prices

Central location, very helpful staff, spacious rooms, problematic bathroom

I spent one night here en route to Denpasar. I appreciated that the owners not only made it easy to find but they sent me a photo so that I could see precisely where the hotel was located as soon as I left the Metro station. Since I arrived after dark that was very helpful. The hotel was clean and neat,. The room was small but that wasn’t in any way a problem. i was well treated, and in every way comfortable. You have to wait a few moments for the hot water but be patient. It does work.

Everything you need for a perfect and comfortable overnight stay

Remember this is a 2 star hotel with basic rooms so you get what you pay for. It's good if you like to smoke inside your hotel room. Ask for a street view room as the other side faces onto a building. It's good value for the price you pay. Everytime you leave you must leave your key. It is right by Taipei main station so location is excellent. Beds comfortable and towels changed and room cleaned every day. They were helpful and allowed us to borrow an iron. No fridge in room. Overall I was satisfied as I got what I paid for. A place to shower and sleep.

Simple does the job 

This hotel is not fancy, looks very shabby from the outside and dated from the inside. It was not too cheap (84AUD per night). But it is good for one or two nights. The room was comfortable and clean enough. The bed was conformable. it is very near from Taipei main station (opposite the station). There are many good restaurants and cafes around it.

Good value for location

Positive points: very good hotel right next door Station and shops - staff hosting Negative points: old hotel and very noisy due to street work because no double glazing (avoid rooms beyond the 510) - no PDJ (you have to go to the neighborhood cafes) - staff speaking very poor English
