This place is very cheap and very good. Please note that if two people stay and each has a case, you will just about be stepping over the cases to get to the bathroom.
Very compact, near new, small modern and efficient ensuite bathroom. Access is via keypad, code changes daily. Good location. $40-60 AU range, elevator. No bag store. Firm bed, value here.

Small small small but very good

Ningxia stay is in a building with just a laminated A4 sign. Very near the Ningxia Night Market and a supermarket/grocery called Carrefour. Rooms are very clean and it gets cleaned every day. Free coffee, tea and bottled water are available and replenished every day of your stay. The room also has a kettle (for tea/coffee), mini fridge, TV, and a hair/blow dryer. Bathroom has shampoo, soap and toothbrushes. Cons are that the staff hardly speaks English, a bit far (a few bus stops away) from the other attractions such as Ximending, etc., no view from the windows. But would stay here again due to the amenities, the cleanliness and proximity to the night market and grocery.

A good place to stay!

This hotel has close proximity to Ningxia Night Market, Dihua Street and Dadaocheng wharf.  The closest grocery/supermarket (CarreFour) is just on the corner.  The hotel has kettle (coffee,tea) and drinking water.  When I arrived around midnight on 12th of April 2017.  Other guests were calling the owner, as they have clearly stated on their notice to guests who are checking-in late.  The locals and receptionist are nice.  And I would love to stay again just because of the close proximity to local markets in the morning (dried fruits, sweet cashew and mixed nuts) and in the afternoon in the park nearby Dadaocheng wharf.  Finally a late night stroll in Ningxia Night Market where the great food is!

First of all its not an hotel or inn, it's a building.
Look for a door with a laminated A4 sign with the name of the place.
The rooms are brand new and really nice but tiny! They have a cleaning lady that puts new water bottles and toilet paper and that's about it, they don't change the sheets or clean the coffee cups or anything like that.
They don't really have a receptionist, sometimes there is someone there but don't count on it- they "work" from 10am to 7pm.
The elevator works from 10 to 10 but we came back at 11pm many times and it was working...
It's 10-12 min walk from the nearest train station.
All and all it was a good experience, good rooms.

Weird but good!

Its a low cost inn. Dont expect too much from this. The entry is not as expected, we had to call the reception for the door pin number. The price is considerably cheap and very clean. Rooms, twin rooms are very very small and should not mind if you stay there for the trip, not the rooms. If more than 2 persons, would suggest not to get the twin room as it would be a little too small. 4 persons and 2 queen beds were very comfy and nothing to complain about. Very close to the Ningxia night market and the bus station. Shuanglian MRT is just a few mins walk. Carrefour is just a few seconds walk. Very convenient overall and like i said, are you staying there for the trips or for the nights?
