Youai Heya

My family of 4 adults (1 old folk) and 4 children (1 baby 1 toddler) checked in for 2 days on 30/12/2014. -PROS- Youai Buwu is a 4 storey and cosy apartment...home setting and generally clean and smell fresh... great ambience... Host Gloria was very friendly and hospitable...eager and enthusiatic to receive us and provides information readily and even find out the weather for our next destination... Check in and check out was a breeze...we were early but we were allowed to place our large amount of lugguage there and go out till late... Informative books and brochures on tainan and others are in abundance... Beverages and snacks such as bread, fruits and cookies are a plentiful...we were even asked to take away the fruits and bread we cannot finish... Convenient location...walking distance to shopping streets and 小吃...walking distance or cheap cab fare to get to most attractions...near to tainan train station... -CONS- Front door is located inside an alley...need host to receive us from the main street...google map only shows the carpark behind it... The children had little bug bites on their arms and legs. Nothing serious but bad enough to cause them to itch non stop and a wee bit of scarring due to the scratching. It may be due to the weather. The stairs are a killer...steep and rather narrow (but with antislip strips on each step-good move)... children and old folks need to be careful.. (maybe they can have those stairway gates installed for the safety of children) -CONCLUSION- Overall, we loved the setting, location of the house and friendliness of the host. We would definately drop by for a stay should we visit Tainan again. *Thumbs up*
