Basian Villas

If you find the city overwhelming, this is the place to be for some rest and relaxation. It's nature with a breathtaking view of the mountains, the relaxing sound of a flowing river and the chirping of birds in the morning. Many people go to this place for hiking and bird watching. For me, the best part was cocooning in the log cabin/villa which was very comfortable. We got the villa for four so our 2 boys can have a room to themselves. There was a refrigerator, so I guess the management read the complaint of previous guests who noted the absence of refrigerators. I judge the meal as fairly reasonable for the price we paid. It wasn't 5 star hotel fare, but it wasn't bad either. Breakfast was simple, but I can see that they try to serve healthy options instead of the greasy choices available in other similar establishments. I would like to recommend the hot chocolate with ginger root, if you like ginger. It was so good, I got 1 cup in the afternoon before checking in and 1 cup for breakfast. I would like to commend two outstanding employees, Bally and Betty. They were very gracious and accommodating. These employees were very nice and I want the management to let them know how much we appreciate their hospitality. I want to return during the summertime, so we can try the outdoor footbath. It was too cold to do so last Sunday.
