Fantastic
2522 reviewsStaying in Mandarin Oriental Taipei was nothing but a memorable experience, starting from the moment I entered the lobby, where I was immersed in refined elegance as I couldn’t take my eyes off the beautiful Peacock stained glass window. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The room is like an oasis after a day exploring the city. The spacious walk-in closet with dressing table inside was very convenient. If I may suggest one tiny improvement, I would like a touch more lighting at the dressing table, making it more easy for doing makeup. But overall, the room was more than excellent! The bathroom featured a cozy shower and a beautiful bathtub. I did spent a long time in the bathroom cos I feel like a little spa retreat, with the bath salt. What makes the experience elevated was the integrated speakers in the bathroom and even the toilet. It allowed me to enjoy music seamlessly while I was having a bath. I didn’t miss anything in the loo as well! Ample supply of glass-bottled water was provided and fill up daily so basically you don’t have to worry about dehydration! Breakfast in M.O. each morning was the reason that I want to get up early. It surprised me with a wide range of freshly baked pastries that changed differently every day and it offered high quality Western and Asian dishes. The Taiwan beef noodles were outstanding, especially the broth. I loved that I could order eggs in any style~Scrambled and sunny side up are my favourite. I sweared to god that I would never miss a day of breakfast in M.O.! Service throughout my stay was exceptionally amazing. The reception team were gracious and efficient. They proactively offered travel recommendations and transport arrangements. Housekeeping team was also impeccable that they organised my charging cable and my cosmetics, making the room clean and neat! I also made time to visit the gym and pool in Spa and Wellness Centre. The calming design with M.O. elements set the tone for relaxation. The changing and dressing room was super nice too! Thank you M.O. team for delivering such a professional service during my stay. I would happily return on my next visit to Taipei.
