A bit of a hidden gem that I heard about from my mom, who lives in the region. Excellent, down to earth host and beautiful, peaceful surrounds. Close to major parks and rec areas in Yilan. Our hostess made some really lovely side dishes herself and the breakfast was really all home made. Ask about the crispy layered nougat biscotti, goes excellent with tea! The cranberry one is my favorite, but there’s also a different one which I think was like bergamot or other small citrus? Rooms are adorable and clean, very quiet and peaceful with little sun nooks in the common areas. Best with a friend who can translate, but I highly recommend it for a cozy homestyle experience that doesn’t pretend to be something else
