Chez Nous Hotel Taipei

I did not know what to expect with this hotel when making the reservation. It got my attention because of its location happens to be in my preferred neighborhood/area of Taipei city. When contacting the hotel via the travel platform in which I booked through, there was no response. I personally had to stop by its lobby to confirm my reservation two days prior to my check in date. What a seemingly rough start turned out to be a good overall stay experience. The front desk staff was courteous, helpful and made efforts in answering all questions. The room was well prepared and cleaned, I particularly enjoyed the hot shower with great hot water temperature and pressure. The room was spacious, and its trendy design blended well with overall theme, even though I am not a big fan of trendy design. It's a boutique hotel, so less guests and quieter, and it's one block off major streets. The bed is super comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will consider it again in the future for a longer stay. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, though it may not offer as many varieties as its competitors but still with enough choices, portion, and good quality. This hotel has won many awards. I now understand why. I will stay there again. It's one of rare hotels that I believe deserve a solid 5 out of 5 in all my recent hotel stays in Taipei city.
