Fantastic
8 reviewsGreat room, great hosts. Hometown B&B is close to the train station and adjacent bus station - so convenient if you want to visit Taroko National Park. The room (deluxe double) was large, new, clean and shiney. It even has a balcony. Efficient air conditioning. Excellent bathroom with shower, big washbasin and mirror. For the breakfast you get the TND 50 coupon to one of the nearby cafes. During the day you can have a coffee and fruits at the B&B. There’s also a big PX Mart just around the corner. The hosts are super friendly, organised a car with the driver for us (for Qingshui cliffs) and let us use the bikes to get to the Dongdamen night market (it's far - not a disadvantage of B&B but remark, because in Hualien you simply have to choose: accomodation close to train&bus station or close to the night market). The only drawback I can think of is lack of wardrobe in the room. Highly recommended place.
