 When we reached the hotel, we did not know we need there was no reception, and need pass code to have a key. We did not receive any email regarding those details. I have to use roaming international call to get the info. After wasting few minutes on the interactive voice call finally someone to talk to, he was the most rude person in the hotel industry.his name is Jerome Huber, and I told him I did not received any email regarding the details on how to check in, and he insist on telling me he did. Instead of being apologetic, he was so rude that threatened me he would hang up on me.and he did! Never ever will i stay in this Swiss Star Oerlikon Lodge and their affiliation or group. The apartment was far different from the photo. If there is a rating below 0, i will give minus 10.
The room was far from the picture shown. The toilet ceiling was moulded, the shower head taped with scotch tape, no hair dryer, no safe box, no fan available when the room clearly do not have aircon, and the room itself smells very bad, I believe housekeeping use dirty towel to clean. the toiletries gave was 2 small bar soap with tiny bottle of shampoo, the kettle was full of white spots, and there was no tissue box that I have to buy from supermarket. The tissue roll was left empty, that "you change toilet roll" yourself.
Really, If you can choose other hotel available, please do. This hotel is not worth your money.

the worst hotel ever

Starting with the positive: the location. We attended an event in Hallenstadion. The guesthouse is very close (withing 10 mins walking distance).

The negative: everything else. The first thing you notice upon entering is that there is almost nothing 'extra' in the room. There was 1 small bar of soap, 2 useless pillows, 1 single duvet (despite it being a double room booked for 2 people), 1 broken fan (no AC), and see-through blinds that provided no privacy.

Further, customer service was pretty bad. When we called (nobody is on site, by the way) about the broken fan, we were told that a previous guest had forgotten the fan, so they would not replace it or fix it. A guest.. leaving an old, dirty and broken fan..? Sure.

Ultimately, I would not recommend this place at all. Even for those in town for an event at Hallenstadion. In fact, I would suggest no one consider booking it and avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs

This has been one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences so far. Upon arrival, my guest found the room in a completely unacceptable state - there were cockroaches, holes in the walls, dirty sheets, hairs all over. When the hotel management was contacted, another room was offered, but it was in exactly the same terrible condition - more insects, broken furniture, dirt everywhere. My guest took photos. I had to book a different hotel for my guests. When I approached the hotel, requesting a refund and providing the photos, I was informed that the "room rate is non-refundable". After several days of negotiations, I was offered 10% of the cost, which I refused. After several more days, I was offered a refund for one of the rooms I booked - the smallest amount out of 3 I booked initially. I refused. I am planning to sue this hotel. Please avoid this place at all costs.

Terrible! Insects, broken walls, different hotel name, do not provide refund. Avoid! Run away!

I stayed there with a friend for one night, because we went to Hallenstadion to watch a concert and we didn’t want to have to be top far from the stadium. Of course it’s not a 5 star hotel... it’s tiny, the light in the bathroom was impossible to turn off, better not too look too close in the corners. But it’s really good for a one night stay. Hallenstadion is really near (10min walk), and also the train station of Oerlikon (3min walk), the zone is quiet and the automatic check-in worked perfectly. Would come back 

Perfect for a Hallenstadion show

TV didn't work. Only one plug across the room from bed. Close to train station and one stop from airport. Right over a Thai restaurant. Noisy. Only one of the key boxes worked and it's the luck of the draw which room you get. No elevator. Thinnest towels I've yet encountered. Fairly hot room. Had to call for WiFi login. 

They should give you TP at least.

We came with our car but this self check-in appart hotel is withine walking distance to the station. In front of the Building, there is a car parking with ticket machine however
free of charge @ 20pm-9:00am 

There is no hair dryer provided in the room. Self Check-In with Digibox.
You have to use the generated code while doing the post registration.
