Welcome B&B was a delightful experience. We stayed for 3 nights last fall (this review is long overdue) and loved every minute of it. It was about maybe a 15 minute walk from the train station, but it is a pleasant walk. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathroom was quite large with a nice tub and shower. Some of the furniture could perhaps use a little bit of updating, but overall the rooms are nice. Breakfast was good and the view of the Matterhorn from the breakfast room made it even better. The real reason to stay here, however, are the hosts. From offering tips on which trails to take for the best hiking experiences, including trails they themselves had hiked the previous day, to allowing us to leave our luggage there and even utilize the shower in the spa the day we checked out, the couple running this hotel made us feel incredibly welcome. They were willing and eager to insure their guests had a great time in Zermatt. We cannot wait to get back here!
