When you want to go out for a nice dinner in Wigoltingen I suppose most people think directly about a nice restaurant in this small village, crowned with a Michelin star. The village definitely offers more and the food which is offered by the young Mr. Frei at the Landgasthof Wartegg is definitely very tasty. Next to the railway station you find plenty of parking spots, it is a real good spot to eat, drink and let you drive home by train. The food we had was seasonal and very good, although it was a Saturday, the place was not crowded, offering a good privacy for some discussions whilst dining. Do not think that this is a bad sign, they were crowded the previous days before! Prices are also for Switzerland a bit above average, therefore the food is above average as well. For us it was the third time we dined at the place and it will not be the last time.
