Angel Bar, probably the only bar where you get a few more chips to drink.;-) Very nice staff! Friendly, incidentally, you wish you had a bar. Occasionally a few cars pass by, but that's just the way it is. Still good for an evening beer.

We were very pleased at the Hotel Engel and will be booking for at least a week again next year. Ilidio Ramires and his team will treat the guests with very clean rooms, super breakfast, kindness and hospitality.

Hotel tres convenient to get to Zurich because the train station is a cote.you can also go by boat which is also in front of the hotel.three beautiful modern rooms with a view of the lake superbe tres good bed tres beautiful bathroom.small bemol:no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor.small lunch medium not much choice.

To advise

Once again, I was a guest at the Angel Wädenswil, a friendly and extremely pleasant restaurant. I first approved of the card a beautiful mixed salad (with fruit and sprouts lovingly decorated and on a very delicious salad sauce). Then the calf-cordon bleu was in vogue. This was made with Spanish cheese and chorizo as well as Serano ham and tasted excellent. In addition, there were vegetables and top-notch potato chips. The portion was adequately large and left some room for a wonderful Toblerone mousse with mango. The wine carton is quite extensive and leaves few wishes. The service was very authentic and adequate. The quality was cheap, but I just didn't like to come back to the Angel's house with a nice opportunity, but I was glad to get back to the Angel's house again!

Very good cuisine with first-class service

Although the hotel is right on the railway line to Zurich, we didn't feel disturbed in our sleep. Friendly service, breakfast was fine, good restaurant. To the lake you have to go through the railway station, large parking lot just around the corner.

Located in the centre

The restaurant has been top for me for years: the place, the service, the ticket and the food anyway. Especially the service was excellent the last time again. There is no waiting, there is only a glance. Here the guest is given the full attention. Bravo! I was disappointed about the rocks. So I gave a small filet for CHF 37.

Top - but

My stay at the Hotel Engel was very good. A generous, clean single room. Ohropax in the room for anyone who wants to sleep with the windows open, because the hotel is really right next to the train station. I had to leave by 6:45. So it was a pity that it was not possible to get another paid breakfast or coffee, since there is only breakfast from 7:00.

A pleasant night's sleep

We went there since I still had a voucher from this place. We ate on a nice summer evening during the week on their terrace. We were nearly the only guests. Food was good and freshly: we ate the course of the day: a piece of meet and fried fish filets in the beer dough. Service was very attentive but not annoying. Wines were good, too. I can recommend this place - even for unplanned eat out.

Good dinner

We were now visiting the Hotel Engel for the second time due to the very good experience, and our positive impressions were fully confirmed. The room (we had booked the larger category) was really large, tastefully furnished and the beds comfortable. The shower is quite small, but there is an extra bathtub for this. The only criticism is the slightly noisy street that runs right in front of the windows. Especially at night, sleeping in open windows is unpleasantly noisy. Breakfast is very extensive for Swiss conditions, everything is continuously reviewed and leaves a really fresh impression.

A hotel with a lively hospitality.

Value hotel centrally located, ca 100 m from the lake shore with a great view for rooms in that direction, overlooking the train station and adjacent to the bus station. 
Simple, functional rooms testament to the high quality furniture originally used - perhaps from the 70/80s, yet very well kept. Bathroom functional, all clean. 
Reception is on the 1st floor with a chair lift installed -up to the 1st floor. This traveler was carrying a 32kg piece of luggage and proudly avoided popping a disc while exercising long neglected musculature on route to the room. 

Nice bar in the building for that essential night cap. Breakfast served in a room on first floor facing the lake, weather permitting also on a veranda; great view and a rather realistic experience of trains driving by. 
Breakfast simple yet of high quality. 
Room key doubles as front door key for after hours. 
For those enjoying a room facing the lake and wishing to sleep with open windows, industrial-strength ear plugs are advisable. That said, train traffic is of low frequency.  
staff is friendly and helpful - looking forward to my next stay.
