Seraina

We have stayed at Hotel Seraina's 2 1/2 room appartement (north) for one week. The hotel has a lovely Engadin feel, with a pleasant wooden interior and many typical decorations. Lovely place, very quiet, good sleep. Enough space. The closet is in fact a space under the roof, our children loved it. Nice bathroom with free toiletries. To get to this appartment, you may use the lift but after that you still have to walk through the corridors and use the stairs (we didn't mind it, the corridors are so lovely decorated so I have enjoyed it every time). When staying at Seraina, you get a guest card which makes it possible to travel through Engadin for free (including all the cable cars, bus and train). We have used it every day, saving a lot of money. There is a bus stop just a minute from the hotel and changing to train at St. Moritz only takes two or three minutes, very efficient. A supermarket is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel has a private subterranean parking garage with an entrance on the other side of the street which is a private part of a larger garage. Tip: don't forget your flash light, the garage light switches off automatically and in the private part there are apparently no sensors so you can easily find yourself in a complete darkness. When leaving, we have got two little walnut tarts - very nice!
