What a find! It does not get any better than staying in a charming, historic (1880) renovated Swiss chalet in a breathtaking location while researching family history in the area. The cozy, comfortable, clean Edelweiss room has robes and mountain views out two corner windows and a balcony. An updated bathroom is adjacent to the room. Breakfasts are excellent with home made bread and jams, local yogurts, cheeses, boiled eggs, cereals, juice and fresh fruit. With advance request Evelyn also serves gluten free bread and muesli. A couple of mornings we ate breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view of Les Diablerets Evelyne, fluent in English, is the perfect host with plenty of suggestions for places to go and things to do. She helped with transportation and a delicious dinner by the fire when our rental car broke down. Thank you Evelyne for our wonderful visit!
