Hotel Gibswilerstube

On the good side - Rooms - The room where we stayed seemed like a newly renovated one. Romm's Facilities - All facilities were of a very good standard - mattresses, faucets, etc. Room size - The room as well as the shower were spacious and the design of them was also very nice. Pre arriving requests fulfillment - The hotel was attentive to our request sent in advance, to reserve for us a quiet room. On the needed to be improved side - Cleanliness - In the bathroom near the sink, were medications that were not ours and probably were left there by previous guests. Breakfast - The breakfast was quite basic without a buffet but just pre-organized plates covered with plastic wrap. The lady explained to us that on Mondays they do not open the buffet, we did not see in advance any note on it while booking. Off-hour entrance - We were not informed by the receptionist that the main doors to the hotel are locked at a certain time in the evening and so I found myself out of the hotel. In my case it was not a problem as there was still a lady at the restaurant that cleaned there the floor (and my wife was in our room at that time).
