Hotel City Zürich Design & Lifestyle

Stayed here the night before leaving Switzerland as it’s close to the train station and in a great central location. This was our most expensive hotel at £320 a night, however the quality of the hotel, the room, facilities and deco were good quality. In the busy retail part of Zurich this hotel is in the heart of the city. Close to bars, shopping, restaurants and over the road from a super Migros 4 floors supermarket with a large cafe/ canteen on the top floor where we had breakfast the following morning. Check in and out was easy, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with great quality furnishings, a comfortable bed with good quality pillows. The bathroom was large and very modern with a multi jet shower, an electric bidet with lots of toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities were in the room, also a stocked mini fridge (at a charge). Great choice of Tv channels and the aircon was great and quite. No iron in the room, but the receptionist did give me the key to an ironing room on the 2nd floor which was fine. Again very small plug adapters that the reception loaned us 2, as ours did not fit. There’s a small drinks bar on the ground floor which looked busy and fun, however we did not go in. I can not comment on the breakfast or dining room as we did not see it or use it. I would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend, very happy!
