This hotel is perfectly located, walking distance from Laax lifts station and restaurants. The rooms are nice and clean and the service is good overall. The indoor parking is super convenient (for a fee). The quality of the breakfast is good too. All in all, good value for money in a great location. Highly recommended for a weekend stay!

We booked this place at the very last minute for a spontaneous ski weekend. Laax is usually packed during this time of the year and we really wanted only a place to sleep, nothing fancy, just a good clean bed - and the hotel delivered just that.
If you want a nice hotel with a great view and a large breakfast buffet and a spa, this is probably not for you. The accommodation is rather basic, the hotel was built in the 70's probably and is dated - but it's clean, the beds were comfortable and the temperature in the rooms were good, probably thanks to the double-glazed windows which looked new. I think the hotel is owned and run by a family - the reception is not always occupied. The owners were nice and friendly (but more in a distanced way, not pushy). I had to get my rental skis at a place a little further away and the owner suggested to pick them up for me, which was really a nice gesture. Also, we were allowed to keep our room longer the last day so we could have a shower after the last day of skiing - also really nice.
We had no expectations whatsoever, all in all this was a good, affordable place (for Laax standards!) and we will return back.

I just returned from a weekend in Laax. We were a big group pf 13 people who wanted to make the best use of the slopes and the early snow. Laax is a heaven for SNBers and it proved itself to every bit of it.
We stayed in Casa Selva for the entire stay. It is very well located, only about 500m from the slope. The hotel staff is very friendly. We arrived late, after the normal check-in hours. But they took the effort of coming over to check us in.
The rooms very nice and clean. All the rooms have a balcony. Breakfast was included and was decent.The hotel has a decent storage space for skis and SNBs. It also has a decent sized, clean Sauna, which probably one of the most important post-ski activity that we were all looking forward to.
On the night we arrived, we were recommended to a Pizzeria nearby. The Pizzeria looked good, but the food wasn't really great. I would rather recommend the Nooba nest to the slope (http://www.nooba.ch/). They have Asian food and it's simply mouth-watering.

SNB weekend in Laax

Pretty aged hotel, clear but unfriendly. It seems to be run by a family who might not be familiar with hospitality standards, or just lack motivation. WiFi has to be paid extra and hardly works. Bed materess was old and out of shape. Heating is difficult to control. Room contains kitchenette but it is not equipped. Style is rather classy, furniture is old but fits alpine hotel style. The owners wife was keeping talking very quick Swiss German, even though she knew that I don't understand it, so communication was little bizarre.
