Stayed here as guests at a wedding. Beautiful old building from 17 century, beams, wood, cosy atmosphaere. View across Lake Constance over towards the German side with tiny boat harbour and pier in front, complete with coote nesting on buoy tyre nest ! Keep the flyscreens down in the evening, because of the proximity to water. Delicious breakfast, inside or on terrace, kitchen and service are excellent and plentiful, second helpings were offered of everything - even of the fabulous sauce - during the wedding meal. Great choice of wines. Wonderful team looks after the guests. Lovely walks along lakefront with plenty of birds ( of prey ) and wildlife, watch out for wild boars :-) Take a drive in old Postbus, take a trip on lake on boat, cross over - we had not enough time !
