Haus Klopfenstein

The apartment provides all the amenities of a traditional Bernese chalet: roomy, cozy, clean, perfectly equipped, with comfortable bed and impeccable WiFi. But its most distinctive advantage over several Alpine houses, where we stayed earlier, is the matchless view from the spacious balcony, facing 1.5-km cliffs bordering Kandertal from the south. Its convenient location in the heart of the village allows to get by foot to the railway station, shops, restaurants and (most important) cable car lines with a lot of hiking trails. Moreover, our very welcoming hosts provided us with a Guest card giving discounts to local lifts and bus transfer free of charge. General impression – great place to stay.
