159 reviewsThe moment we walked up the steep road from the train station to the hotel, we had an inkling that it would be a great stay. When we were given a tour of the property by Lindsay (Linda?), we were certain that it would be one of our best experiences. What makes a stay exceptional is the people and the hospitality and they surely excel in that department. We decided to have a late lunch after our check-in, and the lady at the restaurant (I forget the name) went out of her way to order in a large pizza from outside for us even though it was outside of the lunch hours. The bus and train stations are just a short walk away, with buses every 30 minutes and trains every hour to Interlaken (takes roughly 10 minutes). The Coop Supermarket opposite the Interlaken station has everything under the sun. With a view to die for, waking up to the snow clad mountains and lake Brienz, this is probably the best choice if you choose to stay around Interlaken. A big thumbs up to the brothers David and Mark for keeping the standards high and making us feel at home.
