Very good hotel, centrally located. Beautiful terrace, large parking space. Regular specialties and events. Exceptional basement for occasions. Very friendly host couple. The price-performance ratio is top. I highly recommend.

I was recommended to celebrate my 61st birthday with my family here. We were eight people, we were served very nicely, the food tasted great for everyone. My three grandchildren were able to enjoy themselves in the garden so well. In the summer of 2019, I will be going on vacation at Lake Constance again. I'm really looking forward to going back to the restaurant. PS: We didn't stay overnight.

Rural, child friendly, good price/performance ratio

Our room was small but clean and well furnished, the bathroom was spacious, modern and very clean. The staff is friendly, friendly and very available. No noise is heard coming from the station or the street.

that was 2nd stop during our two-weeks driving trip in Switzerland. 
We arrived during storm weather, got very warm welcome from the owner couple, Priska and Paul (Thank you).
Both room and food were good, really made us felt great.
near to farms, train station, and of course the Lake Constance ( Bodensee), walking around can be unforgettable countryside experience .

Family hotel. The reception was very friendly. The rooms are simple but very comfortable. Apples are available... well, yes, normal in Thurgovia... a little bemool with the bathroom. It was brand new, but the sliding door wouldn't close... otherwise, amazing breakfast, served at the table, on the terrace. All the products are excellent and I was served the best scrambled eggs I've ever had...

The Hotel Bahnhof (train station) in Güttingen is a small hotel with a renowned dining restaurant. It has only 4 guest rooms which are situated on the second floor. The rooms are not spacious, but newly renovated and very clean. They are simply and functional furnished. Complementary fruits, a large bottle of mineral water and some chocolates are placed in the room. 
The bathroom is sufficiently big and newly renovated, equipped with a shower stall. Free toiletries including disposable razors and dental kits with tooth brush are offered
Breakfast is served at the table. It is generously served cold cuts, cheese, freshly prepared eggs and yogurt. The restaurant is invitingly arranged with clean white dressed tables. I spent only one night in this hotel. I did not have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant, which is apparently famous for "good food". 
Although the location is close to the station, I could barely hear the noise from trains, even by sleeping with an open window. The lake shore lies within an easy walking distance.
There is no lift, but the owner offered to bring the suitcases up to the room. It is a family owned hotel managed by an attentive and friendly couple.  There is free parking at the hotel.

Very good hotel. Price-performance ratio is top. Breakfast is excellent! Very nice hotel owners. Parking space is large and sufficient. Strandbad Güttingen is a 15-minute walk away. The hotel has special features: on 2 floors there is a shared kitchen where you can prepare your food. There is also a washing machine, microwave oven, water cook with tea pots and dishes. WiFi reception is good everywhere.

This is a bed and breakfast kind of place.  And a really really nice place. Clean, modern, comfortable.  We stopped here while bicycling around the lake.  This is a real small town.  We were give a very nice room with a view, modern bathroom with shower. And free wifi.  The bar downstair had old world charm. Dinner was excellent.  So was the breakfast. The team managing (Patricia and ______)  could not have been more friendly and nicer. A very nice property.   A small park with swing set etc was cute.

Amazing

There are regular events here with a great selection of food. You go to the kitchen and get advice and service from the chefs. The food is deliciously prepared and the price-performance ratio is great. The wine is also very cheap. For the events it is essential to register. Events are visible on the homepage. Outside of this menu with a selection of well-bourgeois meals.

The restaurant is located at the end of the village. In 10 minutes on foot you are at the lake. It is a typical old building well-received. The rooms are beautiful and very clean and quiet. For dinner the owner invites you to the kitchen and recommends and shows you what is cooking (it is not everyone open the doors of the kitchen!) Good and genuine quality.
