Our visit of one night (off season) was very positive. Coming by car, finding the parking spot proved to be a bit of a challenge – google maps leads you to a wrong place. However, the hotel is situated near the middle station of a big cable car. The landscape is breathtaking. The room (for 2) was big enough and had everything you expect for the price. Especially the view over the mountains was beautiful. There are fixed times when the restaurant is open. The menue is rather small, but nicely cooked and rather inexpensive (i had the rösti with cheese & bacon). The owner and all of the staff were exceptionaly friendly, helpful and attentive. The price was very good for what you get in a height of 2000 meters above sea level and considering this is switzerland. We will surely return to this hotel for an extended weekend to hike and experience the Lötschental!
