102 reviewsI went to the Hotel Seegarten for a few days' rest and relaxation, and I really enjoyed my stay there. The Spring Offer (combining room and dinner) is a great offer, really unbeatable. The hotel itself is in a great location for exploring the Bodensee/Lake Constance region, and it is really quiet and peaceful (although there is currently a building site next door, so there is some noise and disruption during the day). The hotel is around 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre of Arbon, or a very short drive / cycle ride away. The hotel staff are all super-friendly, and I felt very welcome there. The restaurant serves very nice food, and I was also very happy with the wine I had there with my meal. There is no fridge in the rooms, but there are free drinks available in the lobby area of the 1st floor, if you need more water or whatever. Also worth mentioning are the bikes which the hotel has for guests - this is a great service, and the bikes are in very good condition (which is not always the case with other hotels' bikes!), so you can just hop on and cycle off, without worrying about inflating tyres or anything. A bicycle is definitely the best way to explore the area, although there are also very nice walks (for instance, based on another TripAdvisor review, I walked to Rorschach and caught the train back to the hotel. I can highly recommend the Hotel Seegarten, either for solo travellers or for couples, or for families with children.
