Wonderful B&B. Clean and cozy, with charming garden. Quiet and relaxing . Well equipped kitchen, with barbecue for grilling. Free wifi. Breakfast was better than some hotels we we at. For those of us who are used to hotels, this B & B experience was great.

We absolutely loved our three nights in this warm and homely B&B.  The owner, the delightful Henrik, has created a welcoming environment for his guests so that they really feel at  home, relaxed and perfectly at ease.   This is the essence of a good B&B and why travellers often prefer them to bigger and more formal hotels.  You certainly won't find five star hotel glitz here but you will find a friendly and sincere home away from home.
Osterlens   Gastharbarge    is in the tiny village of Glemmingebro, about 15 kms from the lovely town of Ystad.  I believe that there is a bus service but it's easier if you have a car or a bike!  The B&B is next to a beautiful church and there is a little school down the road.
Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with an extremely comfortable bed, small tables and two easy chairs.  There was an en-suite toilet and wash basin but, as is usual in Swedish guesthouses, the shower rooms are shared.  It was so quiet and peaceful and we slept like logs!
There is a small but quite well equipped guests' kitchen so that you could prepare yourself snacks, drinks or even a meal if you wished – a money saver in Sweden!
There are two lounge rooms with television sets, lounge chairs and plenty of books, mostly in Swedish.  Wi-fi is free and available throughout the house.
Breakfast is served in a charming dining room and is the full Swedish delight – home made yoghurt, fruit juices muesli and cereals, eggs, cold meats and salad items, cheeses, fruit, amazing bread from the local bakery  preserves and honey – and excellent coffee.  Fresh flowers on the tables and the walls full of colourful pictures.  Over this beautifully presented repast, my husband and I enjoyed one of the most convivial and memorable breakfasts that we have ever had.  All the guests and a couple of  Henrik's local friends all started talking and laughing over the countless cups of coffee which Henrick plied us with.  Two hours later we reluctantly got up from the breakfast table having shared our lives and stories for a brief moment with other people of good will.  
Henrik was full of suggestions for where to go and what to see and do in the gentle region of Skane and always had time to answer our queries.
We said our goodbyes with a tinge of sadness but with lasting memories of an authentic Swedish experience.  Thank you Henrik!
