We spent one night at Villa Alma while visiting Visby. We were warmly greeted on arrival and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel is perfectly and peacefully situated bedside a mature park just outside the old town. The front side faces the ocean, which means that some rooms, like ours, have lovely ocean views. The windows open so you can hear the waves and smell the freshness and salt of the sea. We received cheerful assistance in finding delightful dining options, a fascinating local museum, and bike rentals for us to go exploring the coastline. The breakfast was absolutely top notch, served in a bright room beside the park, with plenty of friendly staff. Food was fresh, healthy and offered a multitude of delicious options to suit all diets. Upon departure a reservation was even secured for us for that evening in Stockholm . We couldn’t have had a more pleasant stay and highly recommend this charming hotel.
