Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online).Staff and service was fantastic as were the views.The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property.

If you have the chance to visit this beautiful place you will not be disapointed!😁 Perfect for relaxing, romantic weekend, wedding, fishing, hunting or just go for a walk in forrest. Good atmosphere and nice staff. 

Had a fantastic weekend with a big group of friends. Great food and staff is amazing. Surrounding is beautiful, sauna and jacuzzi during after hours to relax. Affordable way to get a nice piece of Swedish countryside. 

We had the most wonderful stay. Lovely place and fantastic food. Emma was so kind and helpful. We were visiting from the US and she helped us find Swedish relatives and my grandmothers home near Ramkvilla.

Lovely stay in a wonderful location.  Very comfortable beds.  Included breakfast is excellent with local and organic ingredients.   and dinner is highly recommended.

Stayed 2 nights here for my cousins wedding. The grounds are beautiful right on the lake, its nice and quite. Theres a sauna and hot tub down by the water as well. The rooms are mostly 2 single beds but that was fine, its a small place so I imagine they needs to optimize the amount of people that can stay. The room was perfectly fine for me. There is a common area outside where there is a fridge, we had most of the rooms so it was nice to hang out there. Breakfast was very good in my opinion and lunch was incredible, loved it! The wedding went very well, dinner was upstairs in the main building, was about 65 people and than we all moved to a barn next door for the after party/dance which was such a cool space with a little bar as well. Great friendly staff as well!

Beautefully located by a lake. We enjoyed walking the surroundings. The set dinner was absolutely delicious  and well presented - well done chef!

Asa Herrgard is located just by a lake and it is just so beautiful...The room was clean. I am an experienced traveler and have seen such white towels and sheets in very few hotels. Our room had a jacuzzi which was an unexpected great suprise! :) Although we visited the hotel in off-season and arrived quite late, and there were no staff to welcome us, the check-in instructions were so clear and simple enabling a smooth access to our room.The breakfast had been prepared with great care and was delicious.Honestly, our one night stay at Asa Herrgard felt not enough but we had to leave because we were on a roadtrip with many things planned. I hope to come back and stay longer to enjoy it fully!

Check-out at 9 is stressful..... But the staff allowed us to stay until 10. They were helpful with getting us a meal late in the evening after work, despite limited opening hours.
