A pleasurable surround not far from city centre. Wonderful old building but that is where it stops. No reception and had to figure out how to open front door, not overly complicated, but took a while while standing out in freezing tempreture.
Room was basic but clean, mould on shower room walls besides the threadbare towls.
Breakfast again basic but acceptable.
Coffee machine in dining room was broken, and could not connect to wifi with passcode given, did work in lounge but not room.

Overnight business trip

If you have a car this is a lovely alternative to the mainstreamhotel in the center of Malmoe.
Small rooms, not the most gastronomic breakfast but it is like home and if you are late, no problem make your own sandwich for free before bed.
I really enjoy my stay after a day sitting in a car travelling around in the south part of Sweden working.
Easy to park, easy to acess the highway which take you to Malmoe C in 15 min.
Great value for the money!

The management greatly annoyed me 24 hours before I arrived by emailing that facilities on the booking site did not actually exist as it had said. So be warned on-site parking  is for the first few cars nothing more and nothing larger, they go park in the street.
No reception staff at all. Entry is via keysafe, the details emailed 24 hours before you arrive. Miss that email and you rely on someone answering a phone number stuck on the front door.
Bed and shower adequate. Hardly any room to move around the bed and even then on two sides of it only. Quiet location.
Front door actually does not shut properly without a tug so found it unsecured during the night. Worse, one time I went out for 'air' a guest had securely locked it so no late arriving guest could have got in, key or not.
Selection of food at breakfast was meagre.

More road house than hotel - very basic

I want to be fair with this rating as I do not like to give negative reviews. When we arrived there, late afternoon, there was no one present to check us in. After about 20 min of waiting my friend had to call the hotel number and we were directed back to some mail boxes at the front door and had to get a combination to open the box and get our room keys. Honestly, I have a walk in closet larger than the room we were given for two adult males. In addition, it eludes me why anyone would put large glass panes in the bathroom door so anyone in the room can see you taking care of your business. So I am giving this place a rating of one. In my opinion it is more like a hostel than a hotel. In fairness my friend was told that the rooms were described in detail in the booking site, somehow he missed them. So my recommend is to read the other positive reviews, read this and make your own judgement. Breakfast was good.
