This gem is worth a visit. 7 apartment accommodation very modern and tastefully decorated. 
From start to finish nothing could be faulted. It is located in a beautiful setting close to many attractions . The accommodation was very comfortable and the service was impeccable. The family that runs this has poured their  heart and sole into this.we received such a warm welcome and they were so attentive offering suggestions of places to visit etc
There is a small restaurant open Wednesday through Saturday. They very kindly opened for us on our wedding anniversary  on a Sunday. The food was exceptional, local produce but equivalent to any top class restaurant .
The service was excellent.
If you are in the area this is a gem that shouldn’t be missed.

The B & B was situated in a rural setting and was a bit like a YHA hostel in some ways but it was a very good standard B & B.  There was a large lounge for guests plus a conservatory where breakfast was taken.  Outside there was a barbeque and tables and chairs.  Each of the guests’ rooms was colour coded.  Ours was yellow.  We also had our own, yellow cupboard in the kitchen, a yellow fridge, plus freezer space.  We could help ourselves to tea and coffee whenever we liked.  All we had to do was clear up afterwards, otherwise there was a 30 kroner fee. 

The B & B provided a very good breakfast, nicely presented on a large dish in our colour coded fridge.  It consisted of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, melon, pineapple, passion fruit, cheese, ham, turkey slices, tomatoes, peppers, crisp bread, various rolls, butter, jam, apple juice, yogurt, muesli and boiled egg.  What you could not finish you could take with you for lunch.  You could help yourself to coffee and various  teas.  The kitchen contained a cooker and microwave as well as the fridges and freezer. 

Our room had adequate storage for two people and had a large flat screen tv.  The bed was very comfortable.  The bathroom was good too with an efficient shower with shower curtains.

The owner was very helpful in telling us what places were worth seeing locally.  Overall highly recommended.

After a desperate search for a spontaneously bookable hotel room in this area, we found Ekenäs Gård on a sign on the main street. The host is simple and very friendly, radiates Zen tranquility. We came to an apartment with a refrigerator and a kettle, TV and DVD player (there is a collection to rent) in a two-story house that was occupied by only us. The bed was heavenly. The breakfast was placed in a basket in front of the door and contained a large quantity of fresh fruit and the request to take the rest on the day trip. We couldn't resist booking and unfortunately we had to continue a second one. Then, for the way back, we had to make a further trip there for the night. However, we had to do it once more, over 100 km, but once again, we had to do it again.
