Stf Sylarna Fjällstation

We stayed two nights. One in a dorm in the annex Kläppen (where top bunk-beds are uncomfortable for tall people with big feet due to the inclined ceiling) and one in a newly refurbished spotless four-bed room in the main building. Though certain covid-19 precautions had been taken, we found it a bit too busy. Particularly as the place indoors was full of campers not staying at the loge making good use of the free wifi in every corridor and corner of the place. One should really try to work something out to make it less crowded. Supper was reasonably well organised with two sittings (6pm and 7:30pm) and nice food and drink. Breakfast was less so. Limited choice of sandwich toppings and rather crowded. It is above all set in a spectacular location and it is remarkable that such comfort is available in the middle of the wilderness. Plenty of raindeer about the place also adds to the attraction.
