Katterjokk Apartments

Katterjokk is a very nice apartment hotel. 
The room are spacious and very well equipped. 
The restaurant of the hotel is very nice and good (try the Burgers !) & the staff lovely.
There is a minimarket @ the 1st floor, where you can find all what you need, very pratical. 
Don't miss the outdoor Jacuzzi & Sauna, where you can have a good drink after a full day ride in the moutains.---> What more ?

We spent a week at the hotel in April. The room was small but functional for 4 persons. The view was fantastic.  Kitchen minimal, but ok for basic cooking. Good WiFi. Very convenient with Coop in the same building. The only downside are the fairly thin walls - if someone decides to party, the entire building can hear it. 
All in all a great place, that can easily recommended!

Wonderful views 

More than a hotel, a Resort !

Let me start by saying that this place is a great choice if you are a bed seeking nature lover. It is not a perfect place but you can learn to live with its ups and downs. I start with things I did not like. The rooms are well equipped with two beds and place too cook a meal and shower. From room information given to us we were led to believe that it is suitable for 4 adults. Let me tell you it is NOT. It has just two beds and tiny sofa. However for 2 adults it is very comfortable. You have to clean yourself and given the rather higher price it is quite strange to say the least. And the walls are rather thin. (We did not have a problem with that luckily though). On the other hand I loved free parking space, shop, proximity to nature and great views, quite "modern" equipment... I am coming back, but this time in a smaller group with more rooms :-)

Bed in nature

room was kind of basic for a this kind of hostel. Clean and modern. bunk beds were ok for two children sharing a bed but too narrow for two adults. 
there is a grosery store and a restaurant in the same building, but in the middle of the summer it seems that those are closed very early. (we arrived on tuesday and store closes at 19, restaurant at 18.) for us this was a surprise and luckily we arrived just before the store closes.

good for a "pit stop" kind of stay

We stayed 2 nights, the room wasn't really clean. Don't know if there a checking after "self cleaning". Found a used condom on the floor and the kitchen wasn't that clean too. Also when you have a room downstairs, hope that nobody is in the room right above yours. You can hear everything, the footsteps are like an elefant is going!! Horrible! We had luck and we had a group of guys above our room!! It was a nightmare!!
Never will stay here again!
