A great experience to come to this family run hotel with good local food, don`t miss the traditional reindeer dinner called Souvass - the best reindeer meal I ever tasted! Personal good service and charming decorated hotell.

This quiet town is not a common place to stop for most travellers, but proves useful when visiting the Jokkmokk Winter Market and you want to stay a little out of town. The owners are very nice and work hard to make sure guests are comfortable, it's run by a small family. The food is pretty good but not gourmet. The rooms are toasty warm as always, even when it's minus 32 outside.

This small hotel is family owned and managed by the owner's daughter with a warm and personal touch. The hotel is wonderfully decorated with a warm wood-fired fireplace in the lounge.  Rooms are a bit small, but very comfortable, even with minus 32 degrees C (outside).
Dinner was great, using local ingredients for house specialities!   The breakfast buffet is a pleasant affair with home baked breads and a selection of continental dishes.
Highly recommended. A great base from which to explore Swedish Lapland.

We stayed there from Feb 20-22 2012. The room was not that big but comfortable and clean. They provided free coffee and tea all day and the free breakfast which is OK. The lunch only cost 8.5 kr and good enough for us. At least the salad is awesome. The owner is very nice although her English is not that good. If you want to compared this hotel to other B&B in Porjus, it certainly not as good as others. But again, it is acceptable.

Home in Porjus

Not that bad...

Charming hotell :-)

This was a nice hotel, and is very comfortable. My room was spacious, especially for Sweden. The breakfast was pretty good. They did not have a computer for public use, but did have WIFI, and I was sent to  Porjus Northern Lights Apartments to receive more information about where to see the northern lights. I was able to keep my luggage in the Hotel after checking out while waiting for the bus to arrive, which was greatly appreciated. My one big complaint is when I called to ask for directions from the bus stop the woman on the phone told me she was busy, and asked that I call back in 15 minutes.
