Villa Fryksta

This guest house is on the edge of the lake and relatively close to Karlstad (a bit over 20km). Might be a bit difficult to find it, because there are no clear signs, but since check in hours are a bit weird (17 – 18), the reception lady called us around 17 to check where we were and to instruct us on how to find the place. The house is also very close to some skiing places so it has quite some visitors in winter. It is also used by workers as a cheap accommodation. The view is great, the house has all that it is needed for simple living, including wifi, enough parking spaces, grilling equipment, balcony set for sitting outside, kitchen (they do not serve food, you make it yourself) with fridges, sinks, cutlery and crockery, common rooms with tv, maps and brochures... There are no toilets in the rooms (and there are around 15 rooms in the house) but you use several common toilets and shower rooms. You need to clean after you and sheets and towels cost extra. Our room was very simple with two beds, one extra collapsible bed, two armchairs and a small table. The receptionist lady was really nice and helpful.
