4 reviewsWe booked a cabin at the site on the suggestion of a friend and were absolutely delighted with our weekend break. The site is well situated with stunning views all around and lots of space for children to play. The cabins are well spaced apart and set on a large site with parking close to the cabins. Our cabin was in exceptionally good condition and was lovely and clean when we arrived. We had an open-plan kitchen/living room with separate shower room/toilet and two bedrooms, each with a single bed with another single above at right angles making sure the bedrooms felt airy. The furnishings were good quality and robust and the small cabin had pretty much all the basics. You need to bring your own bedding/towels or these can be pre booked for a reasonable fee. The only thing that would have been good for us to have was a kettle (there's a nice coffee machine, so bring ground coffee!) The WiFi worked fine for us, the beds were very comfy and the fire pit a great added bonus. The manager and her team were fantastic, friendly and helpful and keen to help us explore the stunning surroundings. There are lovely walks through the woods surrounding the site and plenty to keep kids happy close by. Great value for money and a wonderful break. We will be back!
