We stopped for lunch and were met by two pleasant young ladies. We ordered the flounder, and were able to substitute the boiled potatoes with their delicious mashed potatoes.  Excellent meal and service.

Lovely old house and hotel, simply but nicely decorated. Friendly hosts. Excellent mushroom soup and local fish sauteed in butter. Dessert was homemade vanilla ice cream with cherries from their tree. Very tasty.

We were travelling from Ahus to Nykoping via Karlskrona, Kalmar and  Oland and needed somewhere to stay overnight, we found this little B&B in Paskallavik and decided to stay the night. 
The most scenic place ever! An absolute gem!
From the time we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our charming host Susanah. 
The room we had was lovely, clean with old world charm, a shared bathroom no problem as it was right next to our door and we had a sink in our room. 
After a relaxing walk around the Harbour, we decided to try the traditional Swedish Menu for dinner-
Well, if you are on a budget then this maybe outside of it but absolutely delicious, as we were keen to try traditional Swedish food and Susanah did not disappoint. Fresh Herring and my wife chose the Duck, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Breakfast was divine, fresh local ingredients - delicious. 
Thoroughly recommend!

We planned to stop there for lunch after reading that they were in the "White Guide". We arrived about 13:30 and waited. Three women in front of us were turned away(apparently too late for lunch) and then the waitress simply slammed the door in front of our faces. I always look to write a constructive report on TripAdvisor, but this time I was dumbfounded as to the arrogance of the service personnel.

Simply Rude

Very peaceful hotel in peaceful but very beautiful surroundings near small port and possibilities for swimming and boating.
Captain's cabin near swimming pool but could use a brush up. 
Staff and owners are very friendly and helpful.
