124 reviewsIn March, our family of 11 stayed at the Old Fort in Bequia for a week long vacation. What a unique property! We loved the open concept house, the cobbled walls, and the spectacular views from throughout the house. We were also blown away by the master bedroom in the tower that was easily one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. We spent a lot of time by the pool, which was the perfect place to relax and take in the ocean views. The house also had tables and seating areas scattered throughout, so there was never a shortage of places to lounge. The kitchen came fully equipped, making family dinners an easy task. And while the house felt secluded on a beautiful property, the bars, restaurants, and beaches were just a short drive away. The host was responsive, attentive, and ensured that his groundskeeper was available for anything we needed. Bequia is a small island but given the location of the property, we were happy that we rented a car. We also frequently walked into town, which was a beautiful walk that took about ~40 minutes. The Old Fort is such a unique property well suited for large groups. I would highly recommend staying here!
