Booked this accommodation in Jan (for 2 nights)and was told the night before we our stay that they  had made a mistake and couldnt accommodate us for the first night! suggested we change our dates but that was not an option for us .they did come back with an option to stay the first night  at another (unregistered ) B&B. The lady there was kind and accommodating.When we arrived at the Dodemans for our second night we were told that she wouldnt supply breakfast as we were taking the early ferry and it was too early for her to get up! I asked if we could a least have some fruit and again it was "no breakfast! She did appear a bit later with  some croissants in a paper bag. We surely cannot be the only visitors who take the early ferry so she should either reduce her rate if no breakfast supplied or provide a box breakfast to go (croissant & fruit at least)
The accommodations at the Dodeman's are very nice with large rooms , exceptionally clean and lots of privacy , especially if you are there with friends to share the bathroom. If you book there be sure to check on your reservation closer to your day and beware of the breakfast issue  

Nice space but issues encountered with the booking dates and "no breakfast" 

I recently stayed at this B&B during my short break to the islands. The hosts do as much as they can to make you feel welcome , it  must be remembered that this is a B&B and not a guest house and so you are limited to your room.
 There are two clean and well appointed Bathrooms and the bedrooms were also to a high standard. The hosts Bernard and Josette were very welcoming and Josette had sufficient English to help you in most matters. The  property ( As Stated ) is at the top end of the small town and it took me about 10-15 minutes to walk uphill to it from the harbour front. 
Behind the property some rough country starts  few minutes away which made for some invigorating walking.
All in all I really enjoyed my stay and it made a pleasant change to be in someone's home rather than yet another small Hotel and it was very well priced.

A quiet retreat

Josette and Bernard have a comfortable home. It is simple, but we weren’t there to hangout. You will share a hall bath. The bath is large and very clean. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast is croissants and jam, bread and. Jesse and really good coffee! Josette told us about a concert in town and we met the entire island. We had a blast. We walked to dinners, so we could have wine. It is a steep hill back! We enjoyed our stay.
