Les Islets Fleuris

Our stay at Les Islets Fleuris was quite seredipitous. We planned a last minute weekend trip to Saint Barth from Anguilla. Service: We were pleasantly greeted at the port by our lovely host, Katherine, who drove us up to the hotel, offering genuine and quite helpful recommendations on what to do and where to eat. This woman rocks! She is 70 years old and had the energy of a young french girl. Value: This place is a steal for Saint Barth! The room was very clean, airy with daily maid service. There is a nice pool with a deck. Car rental was included in our stay, which was a very nice addition. Location: The place is a up in le Petit Saline, about a 5 minute drive to Saint Jean and 10 minutes from Gustavia. We had no problem getting around the island and in fact, were really glad that we could escape out of the hustle of Gustavia at night. It is centrally located so it made it very easy to explore nearly the entire island in 2 days. The views of the ocean are absolutely stunning during the day and the skies at night are unbeatable. There are beautiful wild peacocks that roam the property. You cannot get the same natural and rustic experience staying in Gustavia. Rooms: I slept like a baby and the room was very clean. We had an issue with the drain which Katherine promptly took care of. There is a lovely kitchenette if you prefer to cook and a supermarket at the end of the driveway. Air conditioning in the rooms.
