Idilic tranquil location with lovely rooms, good food (breakfast and dinner) and a friendly host, Marcus. Marcus is very helpful with sorting of transport and provision of hints/tips. We Had one of the best massages at Yasmin resort nearby the hotel.

Great place to stay for some R&R after a busy jam packed 5 day tour around the cultural triangle.
Quiet (except when there is a church service - but embrace the real Sri Lanka and soak up the atmosphere) clean and beautifully landscaped resort the rooms are in individual bungalows with balconies and seating.
The beach was disappointing but the weather had been very stormy at times for days and Marcus cleans the beach himself with a tractor so it was rubbish free.
The breakfasts were tasty but more European than Sri Lankan similarly the dinners are beautifully presented with generous portions but aren’t as Sri Lankan as we would have preferred which we might have found frustrating if we had stayed longer than 3 nights.
Overall a lovely place to stay with a friendly and helpful owner and lovely staff.

This place is fantastic to relax and end (or start!) your holiday in Sri Lanka. Really nice houses, great pool, next to the beach. The owners Markus and Jutta and their daughters are very friendly and helpful. They thought about everything in their resort: the lights in the garden, the cold water pool, extra towels, .... B/c of this it also feels more western, but for us this was nice after one month in Sri Lanka with small kids. 
We definitely recommend them!

From the friendly greeting to the departure we was made to feel most Welcolm. The chilled atmosphere is what we needed after a 2 week tour of Sri Lanka. The resort is pristine and breakfast and evening meal was top notch. Would reccommend. 

We stayed here with our two boys for two nights, coming straight from the airport. Lovely oasis of calm, with great swimming pool and the perfect introduction to Sri Lankan food. Marcus arranged a boat trip on the nearby lagoon which was great. He also organised a driver for us for afew days and Sumit really made our trip. Sumit made sure we tried all the local cuisine, organised trips to Minneriya and Yala and was so thoughtful and good fun.


We had a very nice welcome by the owners with a fresh fruit juice. They are very helpful. The bungalow was perfect with a good bed. All the bungalows are situated around a paradise-like garden with a very nice pool. In the evening it is beautifully lighted. It all makes it a very relaxing experience. Also the food is very good with every evening a different menu. Its a 30 minute ride from the airport, so this makes it a great place to start or end your trip to Sri Lanka.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our 3 week holiday.
The lay out of the bungalows in a horseshoe around the large swimming pool amongst tropical gardens is great and looks great at night when it is all lit up.The vibe is quiet and tranquil and a great place to finish or start your trip. The beach is just yards away and is great to walk along and watch the amazing sunsets.
Our room was clean, spacious, large comfy bed,fridge,ceiling fan,air con and a great balcony to sit outside.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We ate our evening meals there as the food was plentiful and delicious.
 In the lobby area there is an honesty book to record any drinks you may have from the fridge and there is a hot/cold drinks machine.
All the staff  along with the owners we met were friendly and helpful always smiling,
We were checking out early,before breakfast, but we were provided with some sandwiches,yogurt and juice which I thought was a nice touch.
Overall we loved our stay here and would stay here again if in the area.

Quiet, small resort located off the beaten tracks, conveniently close to Colombo airport and downtown. Spacious bungalows are located around pool area and on site facilities are well maintained, Immediate surroundings are unremarkable, apart from immediate beach access for a stroll.
