75 reviewsI was at Cool Mount Resort back in March 2015 and then again in Feb 2016 because it was such a great stay. Writing this now because I should have back then but just ran into photos. The place is beautiful and has great views and was perfect at the time because they had not finished the two rooms in the back and actually had not even started them. They had the bungalow on the side and the three main rooms. There were very few people there most of the time. it was very nice. Both time I went I needed a place to study intensively for a month straight. Was the perfect place. Great food. I mean really great. Great service. Was there all the time so it wasn't like others who would leave for the day and come back. Sunil was great and very accomodating both times we went there. The view is fantastic and if you are lucky you might get to have some of the breathtaking sun sets. The rolling fog. The view changes constantly. Would love to go back again. The only thing I did have trouble with was going down to the city. There is the local bus which is not exactly the easiest to catch or you can get a tuktuk. I do not know how this is now years later though. But really there was no need to leave the place unless you were doing touristy things.
