THIS HOTEL SPELT WRONG ON TRIP ADVISOR, it is really VARINIAS beach villa. We walked up and down the beach to find a hotel with a balcony that was not enormous (and therefore noisy). This place has huge rooms for only 2200 LKR per night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We did have breakfast here but as they have not quite finished the renovation the kitchen is not properly up and running yet. The views from the front 2 rooms are amazing and the side room still has a good view for sunset. Great place to watch the fishing boats and the local drying fish (also the crows trying to eat them)
