We stayed here for 2 nights during a 2 week trip to Sri Lanka and wish we'd stayed longer. The rooms are lovely and clean, the balconies are spacious and great for relaxing and watching the wildlife. The pool is excellent and a decent size. The team who run this hotel work really hard and are very friendly. The breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend this place.

A delightful hotel, giving incredible value for money, in a beautiful setting bordering onto Tammana Wewa, with some sumptuous sunsets and nightfall bat displays.
The pool is perfect for relaxing, and there are board games and a badminton 'court' available as well.
Service with a smile, and the rooms are very spacious. The WiFi connection comes and goes, but that isn't a great issue.
The only thing that could be improved slightly would be a more complete choice of vegetarian options on the menu, and a more ready supply of desserts.

This was our absolute favourite hotel in all of our time in Sri Lanka, the family were lovely, food was lovely, pool was amazing, views were incredible. They can organise a Tuk Tuk to local restaurants and they can also offer you an evening meal. Book it you won’t be disappointed. I’m very sad to leave. 10/10

Amazing hotel in the middle of rice fields, quiet, sometimes at night you can hear the sounds of birds and elephants😇😇😇👌 Rooms are big, clean, big terraces, swimming pool 👌👌👌Breakfast with only picked fruits and of course the most sincere staff👏👏👏❤️

I chose this small hotel from the great reviews and photos and had decently high expectations, but they could not match what I found upon entry! Driving down a mostly dirt road in almost the middle of nowhere got me a little nervous but when they opened the gates to a gorgeously set hotel, with peacocks, cows, and other wildlife wandering the lakeside property I was in heaven! Not to mention the aesthetics of the hotel, which has a colonial feel from the exterior and modern interior. Rooms are huge and comfortable and the hot water pressure is excellent.  The pool is a great way to cool off after a long day exploring Sigri.  The breakfast is sufficient with eggs, toast and fruit included alongside coffee and juice & the restaurant offers a decent list of choices for lunch and dinner.  I had the grilled chicken dish twice and everything else looked good as well.  The only negative was having to figure out when and what you wanted to eat beforehand and the later hours for dinner starting at 7, but I think this is standard with smaller places in Sri Lanka.  The service is also so welcoming and accommodating to all you need.  Overall a fabulous stay and my fave in Sri Lanka!

This is an absolutely delightful gem of a place run by very friendly, young people. En enclosed garden has fruit trees and eight lovely rooms. Really - the rooms are totally awesome. The food was wonderful, and I can highly recommend the local Lion beer.

I had  a wonderful stay. The people are very friendly and helpful. The food was also nice and the room is excellent. Very good value for money. I really can recommend it. There is also beautiful garden and a lake. You can find there wild peacocks and it‘s near Sigiriya Rock.

Goddess Garden hotel was a wonderful experience. 
The rooms are huge and very comfortable and clean.  
The staff were amazing bent over backwards for us.  Wonderful food abd awesome breakfast.  Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I wish we could have stayed longer. Goddess Garden is an amazing place to relax and rest after a long day of touring. The rooms are clean and beautiful, and the staff is kind and very helpful. The food is great! Many fruits are freshy plucked from their own garden.  The staff helped us with booking all of our tours and made sure it was suited to our needs (we liked hiking and staying away from the very busy areas) and he made sure we had the perfect time. Great experience!!

The best place EVER

Wow - absolute heaven in the middle of seemingly nowhere

The premises offers a secluded 12 room units with roomy bathrooms .  The owners are very friendly and the just completed pool adds to the serene lake view.  The prices are pocket friendly and location close to most key touristic attractions.  Food was good  and fruits fresh and likely harvested  partially in the compound where the passion for plants was also evident. Bird life from wild peacock to eagle amongst other also sighted.  My first taste of star fruit and view of wild mangoe plant

The best place to stay near Sigiriya! Clean, kind staff and wonderful rooms.

Nice, quiet and friendly place in the middle of the forest next to sigiriya. It is a really enjoyable place with a big room, ac and big modern shower. The furniture was made with cement and very new and modern. 
The garden was like a little botanical garden. The service very friendly. We really enjoyed the stay

Good place to come down

This hotel is well named - in the garden there are  wild mango, papaya, orange, banana trees to name but a few. From our balcony we saw a variety of birds around the lake, including a couple of beautiful peacocks.
Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We
 particularly enjoyed sitting out on the veranda as we had a great view of the lake. A hair drier is provided as well as toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. There is no fridge however.
Breakfast was plentiful- toast, eggs, fresh fruit and delicious orange juice made from oranges in the garden. 
In the evening we also ate here and were not disappointed - the Sri Lankan vegetable curry was really good.  
But what made this hotel so special were the people running it; so friendly, welcoming and funny! We were so sad to leave.
