Worst place in Colombo. We made reservations for 2 rooms. On reaching the property at around 11 in the night, we got to know that the AC was not functional in both the rooms we were put in. We immediately informed the staff present there and asked him to shift us to a room where the AC was working. He refused. We called the owner of the property who came at around 12:30 in the night and told us that he will not honor the bookings made by is and forced us to leave the property. The owner also made personal remarks against us and the country where we came from. The owner was rude, dumb, non-accommodative and also made personal remarks against put female friends. This came as a shock for as we have a very good experience in Sri Lanka and every place we visited for over 10 days treated us well and the manner in which one should treat the guests. We also informed the owner of this property to inform the other guests who were scheduled to arrive after us about the issue. He flatly refused. Worst possible place to go. Just book another property which is in the same area (Transit Studio) who immediately took us in and helped us at 1AM in the night. Dont book this place ever.

Worst property in colombo

No-one here. I booked it and when I showed up at the gate it was all dark and locked up, no-one answered any phone or anything. I had to scramble to find a plan. If you're reading this, try Unwind hostel, 1 minute away.

Business closed?

Very friendly and helpful staff who gave me advice for my travels. Ran by backbackers, for backpackers. Very clean and a good location too, as well as the delicious pancake breakfast. The bed was super comfy making it an excellent choice for after a flight. 

Very nice stay with wonderful staff 

Great hostel. We had a double room and it was cleaner and better equipped than most of the hotels we’ve stayed in. The manager, Sana, was incredibly helpful throughout the stay and couldn’t do enough for us. Great location right next to the airport and laid back atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

Great hostel and brilliant staff

We stayed there before heading to the airport and then we weren't allowed to take our evacuation flight so we came back and told the manager that we have little money left for food and we will pay as we get our refund money and we signed a paper to the accountant. Then suddenly one night at 10 pm they were very rude to knock our door and ask the guys to go to their office and threatened us to give them money. We had to borrow money from our friend and left the next morning..they were so bossy and rude and made us pay for smoking in the room after 8 days of not even saying it's not allowed and not putting any sign for it..one of the worst people in srilanka..i don't recommend this place at all!!!!!!

Mafia hostel

Would definitely recommend this hostel if you need to be close to the airport! Staff are all really lovely and so was the room. Only issue was no mosquito nets. Also a bit loud but that can't be avoided. Only a 5-10 min ride from airport. Also had a good breakfast provided! :)

Great hostel close to airport

This hostel was perfect for us when we arrived late with our flight to the Airport. 
It is aound 5-10 min by cab and the taxi is cheap aslo.
The hos staff meet us at the gate was warm and friendly and made us feel really very welcommed.  

Warmly recomend

Really easy to get to from the airport and the staff were very helpful. Particularly Sana, who put a lot of effort into helping me find a jacket I left behind in a taxi the night before! Thanks for a great stay :)

Great stay, super convenient.

I went to srilanka with my women only group. We reached late night so instead of staying at airport to wait our fellow passengers who were coming in morning I chose them to stay at a place near airport. So I booked hostel first. Trust me it was a lovely experience. People there are so hospitable. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was simple but very tasty.they made special arrangements for us to serve string hoopers too. Everything was upto the mark. I would give 5 star to this place.
