5 reviewsThe hubby and I have just returned from a 3 week stay here. It is an absolute gem and I can't believe it only has a few reviews. I certainly don't hesitate in highly recommending it. Dilanee (sorry for the spelling), her husband and family are so friendly and go out of their way to look after you. Breakfasts are amazing and huge!! Apart from the fresh fruit, juice, eggs, toast, jam, tea/coffee, we were treated to some traditional home cooked Sri Lankan dishes as well and they were gorgeous. Upstairs are the rooms which are a great size. We stayed in 2 throughout our stay, both with balconies and spotlessly clean (as is the whole accommodation) and have to say the beds are really comfortable complete with mosquito nets, powerful ceiling fan and a/c. There is a communal area with seating where free tea/coffee are available. The location was perfect for us. The area itself is very peaceful (as is most of Bentota) but you are only a 2 minute walk to the beach, railway station, bank, atm and cafes. There is also a handy little shop opposite. All in all we had a fabulous holiday and cannot thank Dilanee and her family enough.
