We stayed two nights and had a great time. All very clean and the room had a balcony overlooking a shaded waterfall where we saw a crested eagle having a froggie breakfast, toque macaque monkeys and golden orioles. The food and beer in restaurant is reasonably priced just watch out for the cheeky scamof adding your room prove to the bill so you have to pay an extra 10% on the agreed price. Card accepted. Don't leave anything on the balcony on the monkeys will investigate. It's a 90 minute drive to the entrance of Dawatagale Hiking Trail up Knuckles Mountain. You can organise a guide through the hotel but you don't actually need one and it would be abb expensive water carrier at $60usd!
