We stayed at the riverside hotel in Kandy for one night as part of a three day tour of Sri Lanka with Sri Lanka Brothers tours. It is a lovely family run hotel which was clean, comfortable and very welcoming! Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted and taken up to see our rooms, with our hosts kindly insisting on carrying our bags for us. After a short while after check in our hosts at the hotel knocked our bedroom door to take a pre-order on our food. This was very much appreciated and a kind gesture as the hotel was busy and we’re hungry after a long days travel. We can honestly say that the chicken and beef noodles that we ate at this hotel was by far the best food we had in Sri Lanka!
