I have been coming to this guest house since 1996 when I joined owner Kumari and her daughter on the front porch for a joint reading of one of the " Clifford The Big Red Dog "books. Kumari is still there and as friendly and gracious as ever.With her daughter now at university in England,, Kumari's sidekicks now include the pooches Bubble, Toffee , Bisquit, and No-Name,. They are such a loving group! There is also a cat and turtle in residence. Kumari is an excellent cook so you can order all meals onsite. The room is simple but comfortable. You are walking distance close to the lake and all major Kandy sites. You will feel cared for and at home at the appropriately named " Homely Cottage." Book and enjoy a wonderful experience!
