Oak Ray Regency Hotel

Lovely food after we saw some fantastic traditional Kandy dancing. Views of the sunset were also stunning. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the restaurant had live music! 
The hotel was very clean and tidy and in a prime spot in the centre of the city.

The hotel was excellent, the staff were great they were so attentive to all my needs and the food was fabulous.
Would highly recommend. Rooms are so spacious and the pillows were so soft😊 if I ever come back to Kandy I will definitely stay in this hotel

The staff members are really friendly. The lobby space is cozy. There is a cultural show in the evening, which is a bonus. The facilities are clean. There is a supermarket accepting a credit card within a walking distance. It is a bit far from downtown area, but you can have a great view of the river.

Had a wonderful dinner experience at Oak Ray Regency Hotel in Kandy. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service. A great spot for a relaxing time in Kandy.

First of all, the welcome is outstanding  : you won't wait at the desk for the check in, just sit in the comfortable lounge, where a welcome drink and your keys will be brought. 
The room is huge, nearly 50 sqm ! and a big bathroom, with stair ! Because in Sri Lanka, no room can be done without a stair...
We had a very nice buffet breakfast (I thought I could have yoghurt as the hotel of the same chain, but there wasn't). 
We had also cocktails in the huge lounge so beautifully decorated. 
The last night the manager resident of the hotel asked me a few questions, and we were offered a glass of wine. We could discuss about what could be improved.. and even about the future project for a huge terrace in order to double the surface of the restaurant. That is a wonderful idea as there's a lot of unoccupied space !
On our departure, we had the pleasure to say goodbye to Sura and his team.
This relationship makes our journey in the Oak Ray Regency, awesome, and I am sure we will keep in touch and probably, I will visit them when the terrace project is done !

Great hotel, close to everything but just out of the way of all the nightlife. Housekeeping staff extremely helpful   - couldn’t do more to help. Breakfast selection plentiful, and restaurant has a real pizza oven. Would definitely stay again.

Very very very very friendly staff at reception and also the restaurant. So many different choices to accommodate everyone. Highly recommend the dessert section! Coffee mousse and banana pudding are magnificent. Definitely coming back here

Overall a pleasant stay. The rooms provided were triple rooms even though we booked double. But definitely no complaints they were very spacious and clean. One room had a balcony area as well. The food was tasty and a reasonable variety was there. Helpful attentive staff. The rooftop area is a very nice place to be in the evening or early morning.

First time to Oakray Regency Kandy & wish we could come back again…..great hospitality..specious rooms with view of the river….Umesha at the front office was so friendly & we thank her for been so kind.overall lovely place for your holiday & highly recommended ❤️

We like the stay with oak ray Kandy and river view is simply awesome and morning with a cup of coffee and the view is very nice to start any day. Mr Iran sellaiah was always there to guide us and take care all request we have during the visit. Overall it is a nice stay in kandy

A wonderful stay !

Family friendly stay.

The rooms are big and clean. The chef and his staff are amazing. We had lip smacking food everyday when we stayed there. Warmly recommended. The only feedback i have is to have the option of fan and ac working together. Lots of small ants which I think is ok. Clean pool and great view from the restaurant 

Clean, great view and amazing helpful staff

Lovely hotel, the rooms are downstairs so there is quite a lot of noise from the restaurant upstairs in the morning. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was nice but had to pay extra for non instant coffee which I felt was unnecessary. Lots of monkeys in the area so unable to use our balcony. The pool area was very nice, lots of fun

We left ella early and made our way to Sri Lanka, we were able to get a room so quickly the room was fantastic with great views, the service was fantastic we needed a Tuk Tuk and food was no trouble late at night.

If you need a long stay or short stay this is a fantastic hotel and close to city centre

Perfect stay in Kandy great location

The staff and the accommodation were very friendly and helpful! Oak Ray Regency: Comfortable rooms, attentive staff, delicious food. Enjoyed my stay, would recommend!
 It was a nice experience and close to the areas I had to be in!!

The people here are very nice and professional, they offered instant help whenever I encountered with some unexpected situations about my plan.Deeply thank them for the caring and everything.
