Kandy Mount Villa

My family stayed here on our holiday and we had a great time. They have an amazing pool to relax in after a long day. Plus the staff go above and beyond to assist. The WiFi briefly went out during our stay, but this was quickly fixed once we let the staff know. 

Excellent!

Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful assisting us to our room, it was clean and insect free!

Primeraly the food here was a turn for us from the constant buffets very good chicken especially the sauce! Also breakfast with a wonderful view of the mountains was especially relaxing and atmospheric with smiley and attentive staff. Will stay here again when we return to Sri Lanka

Brilliant value for money!

Lovely staff, great pool

Luckily we stayed only one night at this place. The room was big but dirty. Hornets in front of the door. The price is to high for such a ugly place. During dinner we saw a rat and mousses. The staff was very friendly and our driver could sleep there but there are a lot of better accommodations in Kandy. 

Horrible stay

This hotel is located on a hill, a bit out of the city centre, so you will need a drive (tuc tuc) to get in/out.
The rooms are OK, nothing fancy though.
The breakfast is served on the top floor, from where you can have a nice view.

The rooms were dirty and dusty. The bathrooms were old and scruffy and the shower cubicle was filthy. The beds creamed alarmingly and woke you up every time you turn over. The friendly lads who do the rooms and the cooking need lessons from their mothers.  The food was very poor and the upstairs breakfast room/common area had the ambiance of a station waiting room. You cant walk to anywhere so are stuck eating there. Couldn't wait to leave.
