Exhausted after a long and crowded bus trip from Dambulla and the chaos of Kandy, arriving at The Peppermint was exactly what we needed. Lovely and peaceful. We spent two relaxing days at The Peppermint with Pringi and her family. The multi story house is at the end of road which means no non stop traffic, one side of the house is surrounded by trees and they have a fabulous large, covered balcony on the top floor that we spent the entire afternoon on. But my favourite part was the food. Pringi treated us to delicious Sri Lankan fare - the breakfast was so good that we elected to stay in for dinner rather than go to town and I will be dreaming of her chicken curry for a long time to come. Pringi is a fabulous hostess, friendly, helpful and inviting - I miss our chats!
